I have used DameWare NT Utilities mildly since 2003, but in the last 2 years, I have introduced it it my new Job and we use it extensively. We have 2 offices (2 miles apart) and support about 350 users. This application brings lots of key Administrator feature to your finger tips. It is great!! Hope to see a new version that in-cooperates Intel AMT VPro Technology and chat.

Good job guys. But a vehicle to create and export inventory report into Excel would be wonderful. For instance.. 3 of Pc's, Netbios names, Serial #'s and such.

We've been using DTNU from 2003 and it's been a dream. 50 remote locations and 450 users with a central location of 120 users. DTNU is loaded with features - everything from Wake-On-LAN to Asset control with Dameware Exporter! This thing is awesome! Only trouble is, my butt's getting fat - I never have to leave my desk anymore. Could you add an articulated arm for those times when the ethernet cable comes out of the wall?
Keep doing what you're doing, it's making my life easier and making me look tireless to my clients.

I had to manually remove the old AV off of 147 computers on my network. The old AV did not have a batch file to un-install so I was going to have to sit down on every computer. I work at a school that includes 10 buildings. So going to every computer would of been an incredible undertaking. I also had to configure the .INI files on every computer because the passwords were not given to me.
So I downloaded the Mini-Remote and it picked up every computer on the Domain. I couldn't believe how easy it was. All I did was enter my credentials and I was ready to go. This software saved me from alot of time walking around on campus. I was able to answer emails, take calls and remove the AV all at the same time from my desk. Great job DameWare.

Fantastic! is all I can say about this product. If I didnt 't use this product I would have to use so many programs just to do my job as a network admin. I love the point and install on any PC in your domain. You don't have to be on the client side to install. So many tools. This a swiss army knife for IT network admins! All tools rolled up in one! If you want to ask me anything about dameware just email me at (robert at itdaddy dot net). And I can tell you anything you want to know. I use all their tools and makes my job easy! One man IT god I am with Dameware no $hit!

I just removed Netware clients, changed drive mappings and set up active directory access for almost 50 local and remote systems in less than 5 hours. Without Dameware, it would have taken at least 15 and a lot of gas. Dameware is the most cost effective software we have ever purchased.

This is THE ultimate basic tool.
We have used DNTU and especially the MRC for several years now on 3500+ servers and workstations, couldn't do without it.
